Slow Progress

Slow progress with the hobby at the moment due to work and life. I have managed to get a platoon of infantry painted however... While I worked on these over the course of about a week, the time spent actually painting and basing was not a lot. I could easily get another platoon done in a couple of days if I find the time, one of the advantages of 6mm scale. Most of the work was in painting the clothing, but after that just a few spots of flesh and beige on webbing and they were ready to be based. I used Vallejo texture paste painted a desert yellow colour. Brigade Models 6mm Polish Infantryman I also painted some MDF pill shaped bases to act as dug-in markers in my games of Dirtside II. I have card tokens for this job but I think the textured bases look better and are less likely to be knocked around the table (in the game dug-in tokens remain in place throughout, even if the unit moves away).
